Warranty

Up to 18 months warranty, by repair type.

Warranty length here depends on the repair, not the Mac model: a battery swap and a logic board rebuild age differently, and each is covered for as long as that kind of job typically needs.

Warranty by repair type

Four repair types on this site carry four different warranty periods, set by how each part or fix tends to hold up over time rather than one blanket number for everything.

  • Battery, screen or keyboard replacement — 6–12 months
  • Logic board repair — 3–6 months
  • SSD or RAM upgrade — 12–18 months
  • Longest cover offered on any repair — up to 18 months

What the warranty covers

Two things are covered: the specific part we fitted, and our own workmanship in fitting it. If the exact fault we repaired shows up again inside the warranty window, we open the Mac and put it right again.

A valid claim carries no extra fee and no separate diagnosis charge. The warranty exists so a repeat of the original problem costs you nothing further, on top of what you already paid once.

What it does not cover

Cover for one fault is not cover against everything that could happen to a Mac afterward. It does not extend to new accidental damage such as a fresh drop or crack, liquid that reaches the Mac after the repair leaves our counter, a fault unrelated to the one we fixed, or a software problem sitting outside the hardware we actually worked on.

How to claim

Bring the Mac itself and your invoice to our counter in Taman Dagang; no appointment needed, just walk in during opening hours. We look at the fault again, match it against what was originally repaired, and if it is the same issue we fix it under warranty at no extra cost.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Does warranty length depend on my Mac model?
No, it depends on which repair was carried out. A battery swap carries the same 6–12 month cover on a MacBook Air as it does on a 16-inch Pro.
What would stop a warranty claim from being valid?
Anything that is not the original fault: a new knock or crack, liquid getting in after the repair, an unrelated problem, or a software issue rather than the hardware we fixed.
Do I need the original invoice to claim?
Bring it if you still have it; it speeds things up. Without one, tell us roughly when you visited and what was repaired and we'll check our own records at the counter.
What happens once the warranty period has passed?
We'll still take a look and quote the repair again. It simply will not be free once the covered period for that particular repair has ended.
