Puchong sits far enough southwest that there's a genuine choice to make before leaving Bandar Puteri or Puchong Jaya: the LDP onto SPRINT and the AKLEH is the more direct line into Ampang, while the MEX out to Jalan Tun Razak and then Jalan Ampang tends to move better once SPRINT backs up near the city. Neither route wins consistently; it depends on the time of day and whatever's happening on the AKLEH that morning.
Checking Waze or Google Maps just before leaving usually settles it faster than guessing, and either route lands in Taman Dagang within about 35 to 50 minutes outside peak hours. What matters more than which highway you pick is leaving outside the peak windows in the first place — both routes lose a lot of their advantage once the afternoon jam sets in around Bandar Kinrara and the AKLEH on-ramp.
